This paper reports on the 2010 ICSE Workshop on Emerging Trends in Software Metrics (WETSoM 2010) held on Tuesday 4 May 2010 in Cape Town, South Africa, as part of the ICSE workshop series. The goal of this workshop was to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss the progress of software metrics.
