This paper proposes an optimization scheduling method based on ant colony algorithm for coke oven pushing plan in the abnormal operating conditions such as oven number out of sequence that happens in the pushing process. An optimization scheduling model of pushing plan is firstly established for abnormal operating conditions, so as to restore normal order as soon as possible and minimize the penalty cost by out of sequence and too long or too short coking period. Then, the scheduling model is transferred into the traveling salesman problem model, and the coke oven pushing plan is formed by using the ant colony algorithm. Finally, the proposed scheduling method has been applied to an actual production of iron and steel enterprise, and the optimization scheduling system for coke oven pushing plan has been established, and significant practical application results have been achieved.
