This paper proposes a secure networking platform, called SPX (secure networking platform for group-oriented exchange), which can solve certain problems in the Internet, such as phishing and spam. In the Internet, global reachability is maintained economically and the signal-to-noise ratio of contents is improved by collecting signal contents from the whole network. However, malicious users can access the data of legitimate users easily and cheaply, so security problems such as spam and phishing are serious. To solve these problems, our SPX divides the Internet into many logical closed networks called communities, corresponding to the interests of customers. In addition, each physical user entity is divided into multiple logical entities, called virtual personalities. Each virtual personality is associated with a dedicated community. The key technology of our proposal is a multiple-association function that enables a physical user entity to access multiple communities simultaneously by controlling multiple virtual user entities simultaneously. Thus, multiple-association feature is effective in extending reachability of users in each community, respectively. In addition, in the SPX, valuable contents are shared with low content noise because any user cannot send noise content from outside the community. As a result, SPX can provide secure communication service while maintaining appropriate reachability among users because the closed communities are effective in improving security and reducing inappropriate information.
