Quantum Control of Electron Spins in Semiconductors with Phase-Locked Raman Pulse Pairs

We report the first experimental demonstration of full quantum control of electron spins in semiconductors with phase-locked Raman pulse pairs, mapping relative optical phase directly onto the phase of electron spin polarization.
