Thinning schemes for call admission control in wireless networks

In this paper, we present new call admission control schemes, thinning schemes, which smoothly reduce traffic admission rates. Performance analysis is carried out and new analytical results are obtained. It demonstrates that thinning schemes can be used to derive many known call admission control schemes.
