Managing projects through a corporate repository

TRW's Project Review Online System (PROS) was created in late 1996 to automate the collection and analysis of project data. It provides a web-based repository of up-to-date information to support project management, senior manager oversight, and process improvement. This article captures our experiences with establishing and using this concept.
