Commerce, particularly electronic commerce and mobile bile commerce (e/m-commerce for short), and security are related to each other and in fact are inseparable, hence the birth of secure e/m-commerce. This paper discusses the applications of public-key encryption and zero-knowledge identification in e/m-commerce in order to make the e/m-commerce secure, useful and practical.
