A survey of stochastic comparisons for non-blocking switches with output queueing

Y.B. Kim, Armand M. Makowski · 2002

Models a crossbar switch with output queueing as a collection of discrete-time queues fed by independent Bernoulli inputs under a random routing mechanism. For this simple model the authors survey results obtained on the problem of comparing various performance measures in terms of the arrival rate vector and switching matrix.
