This paper presents an equivalent non-recursive filter for a complex recursive filter operating in the transient mode and using the non-zero frequency initialisation. This equivalent filter will simplify the analysis of recursive filters used for clutter rejection applications and provides direct formula for the transient frequency responses. (4 pages)
