An efficient DC-notch FIR filter design

A computationally efficient and programmable dc-notch FIR filter design using a modifiedα–scaled sampling kernel and an analytic procedure is proposed. Design examples demonstrate that the proposed approach provides an efficient solution for designing a sharp dc-notch FIR filter, and satisfies the required filter specification.
