Globally-Collaborative "Homeland" Security System Design

This paper describes the rationale for a new course at UNH:"MicroelectronicsfortheGlobalWorld/CollaborativeEngineering". The course is a key component in a curriculum designed to prepare graduates to capitalize on the opportunities and to meet the challenges of a global market for security- technology-based products and services. The course addresses the issues of globalization from technical, economical, as well as professional perspectives.
