A 150-mhz 43-tap Half-band Fir Digital Filter In 1.2-μm Cmos Generated By Silicon Compiler

J. Laskowski, Henry Samueli · 2005

A 43-tap half-band FIR digital filter generated by a silicon compiler in 1.2-pm CMOS is described. The multiplierless fixed-coefficient filter has a folded transpose direct-form structure, uses carry-save addition, pipelining, and a true single-phase clocking scheme. The 6.5 x 6.3-mm2, 66,000 transistor chip has been verified at 150 MHz with a power dissipation of 2.0 W.
