Switched high-pass RC filters †

When an N-path type filter uses switched filters which are high-pass sections, it is shown that the output characteristic can have either a deep or a shallow notch at the switching frequency. Also, using certain switching arrangements, the output characteristic of the filter can be changed from a high-pass to a low-pass characteristic by resampling the output at different positions.
