An Extended Version of some Theorems from Fenchel’s Duality Theory

In this paper we compute the fenchel-conjugate of the functionals p 1 +P 2 sup p i and p A given on a linear topological space. We establish necessary and sufficient i=1,2 conditions for the validity of the well known formulae for the conjugate functionals. We do not impose continuity assumptions on the functionals. Moreover, sufficient conditions are given weakening the customary continuity hypotheses.
