Designing Systolic Arrays for Image Processing using the Recursive Replacement Scheme
S. Nandi, Amit Ranjan Sinha · 2005
The concept of designing systolic arrays by recursively replacing its modules by one or more scaled down versions of the original systolic array, is explained. The recursive replacement scheme is applied to design efficient systolic arrays for solving matrix-based problems used in Image Processing. Different performance measurement parameters are defined to study performance benefits.
