Simple and attractive demonstration of the reversibility of chemical reactions

The reversibility of chemical reactions is demonstracted by dehydration of CuSO 4 · 5H 2 O and the subsequent hydration of CuSO 4 . The associated heat comsumption and the subsequent heat production illustrate the concept of endothermic and exothermic reactions.
