Enhancing home entertainment experience with virtual UPnP media renderers

In this paper, we introduce a system called Virtual Device Ensembler (VDE) providing virtual UPnP renderers which are combined with the rendering functions of real UPnP renderers. We present the architecture of the system and discuss the issues raised when we implement the system.
