Some aspects of generalized $\bf T$-fractions

The purpose of this paper is to generalize the concept of a T-fraction into the direction of simultaneous approximation with rational functions having a common denominator. The generalization includes aspects of correspondence with formal power series in z and 1/z, the notion of orthogonality w.r.t. a linear functional and convergence
