As part of both the decenial census and monthly current population surveys, the U.S. Bureau of the Census publishes statistics about the industries and occupations in which people are employed. The data for the employment statistics are natural language responses to the following questions:Ia. For whom did you work?Ib. What kind of business or industry is this?Oa. What kind of work were you doing?Ob. What were the most important duties?Oc. What was your job title?
