A simple, direct derivation of digital network sensitivities

A formula is developed for the computation of the sensitivity of a digital network transfer function to changes in a branch transmittance. Although the result is the same as that ordinarily derived from Tellegen's theorem, the proof in this ease is independent of Tellegen's theorem, and is considerably simpler.
