Network structure optimization

Genetic algorithms are applicable solution for network structure optimization. It lets us obtain good results within acceptable periods of time. In this paper we present several ways of using such genetic operators as mutation and crossover for solving network optimization problems. Some recommendations are given for which type of this operators is more suitable for given problems. Different types of coding chromosomes are considered for illustrating inequality of mutation and crossover application.
