John R. Rice, Charles L. Lawson, William J. Cody, WILLIAM S. GEAR, Hans J. Oser, Barry Boehm · 1974

These patterns include the increasing demand for high quality, for a philosophy of development and testing, for standardized libraries with portability and the impact of computer networks, parallelism and lower hardware costs. Economic considerations will become more important as will the creation of software as the principal objective of research.
