Monolithically-Integrated SOA Gate Switch and Its Application to High-Speed Switching Systems

We developed an 8-input and 1-output (8÷1) monolithically-integrated SOA module for highspeed and large-scale switching systems. An 8×8 gate switch subsystem consisting of eight 8÷1 SOA modules (72-SOAs) achieved a high-speed switching and lossless operation.
