Security Systems Protect Audiovisual Materials

Recent technological developments have made it possible to protect audiovisual materials with security systems traditionally used for books. Smaller targets can be placed directly on media. Low-level magnetic fields are used to deactivate and reactivate targets without damaging the contents of magnetic media such as audio and video tapes.
