Mixed states in a neural network model

Mixed states that are symmetrically related to more than one pattern are shown to exist in the Gardner model. Their retrievability and stability depend on the storage capacity of the network. We show that, under certain conditions, these states are stable and they have properties similar to those of the mixed states of the Hopfield model.
