Racing for common criteria certification

Under the recently-signed Information Technology Security Evaluation Common Criteria, Voltaire Advanced Data Security Ltd, of Herzelia, Israel is pushing for its unique data security product to finish first in the race to achieve an EAL-2 rating. Voltaire is working through an evaluation company called COACT in Columbia, Maryland to achieve an international rating for its ‘2-in-1’ personal computer board. The board permits a logical and physical separation, using the same computer, between two networks operating at different security levels, for example, the Internet and an internal classified network.
