Amplitude-squared squeezing in the multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings model

M. H. Mahran, A.‐S. F. Obada · Physical Review A · 1990

Amplitude-squared squeezing has been investigated for the generalized multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings model. Different values for the initial photon numbers as well as different photon multiplicities have been used. The atom is taken to be in either the ground or the excited state. The relation between both amplitude-squared and normal squeezing and the phenomenon of collapse and revival has been discussed.
