How different can pure squeezed states with a given fidelity be?

V. V. Dodonov, Matheus B. Horovits · Physica Scripta · 2012

We obtain exact and approximate formulae for the upper bound of the relative energy difference of two squeezed pure states with fixed fidelity between them. One of the consequences is that in order to guarantee a relative energy difference of less than 10% for quite arbitrary squeezed states, the fidelity must exceed the level 0.998?866.
