Analysis of voiced speech by means of bispectrum

A method for bispectral analysis of the voiced speech for recognition purposes is proposed. The phase relations between the harmonic components are evaluated using the bispectrum. The experiments show that this approach may be used for laryngeal pathology detection and speaker recognition.
