Preserving and Diffusing

Daniel Teruggi · Journal of New Music Research · 2001

The Ina-GRM is one of the oldest and most important Groups in electroacoustic music. As a research group concerned with creation, technological research and aesthetic problems, it has accumulated through its long history an important amount of works and documents, which have been brought together in a library called the “Acousmathèque.” This conservation centre has been concerned with preservation and restoration problems since its first years, mainly due to the technology changes through time. A brief overview of the problems encountered and its future developments are studied here.
