A digitally controlled switching regulator

A switching regulator is described which uses parallel digital logic to "instantaneously" calculate proportional, integral and differential feedback. The control functions are examined individually and in combination with regards to implementation and performance. An alternative microprocessor software approach is discussed and conclusions drawn.
