IT I, I think, no exaggeration to say that innumerable psychological tests have been brought out-the Fourth Year Book of Mental Testing, which includes only the better known ones in current use, lists 793. There is at least as much need today for the revision and improvement of existing tests as for the production of new ones. Further, there is also a need for the study of, and for the spreading of information on, the reliabilty and validity of any given test so that it may be used in the right circumstances and with full consciousness of its limita-
