An overview of agent based digital watermarking detection system

Digital watermarking is an important technology for protecting intellectual property rights of digital information. However, the effectiveness of digital watermarking relies on the efficient detection of watermarks from huge amount of documents in cyberspace. Mobile agent technology and digital watermark technology compensate each other and play very important roles in the industrial applications. An overview of Digital watermark tracking system based on mobile agent, which can authenticate the digital watermark of digital works directly in the remote mainframe by using the distribution and mobile characters of mobile agent is discussed in this paper. This tracking system can reduce the load of sever and network because the watermark is detected on the remote hosts. Also this tracking system improves the efficiency of copyright protection.
