Controller/platform co-design of networked control systems based on density functions

Digital control systems, in which the computational part is distributed over multiple resources are called networked control systems (NCS). Because such systems are often limited in resource usage, a reduction of computing and communication capacities is strictly required. A holistic considerations of control performance and resource usage of the platform will allow a more efficient system design.
