A top-down design and test of an industry sponsored FSM project

This paper presents a top-down approach to teaching a Digital Integrated Circuits project. The targeted students have no previous experience of industry standard tools or design flow. Tools to facilitate the generation of project specifications, home-work assignments are presented.
