Workflow execution platforms interacting with network components over SNMP
Simeon Tsvetanov · 2007
The paper presents the technological solutions for data integration in distributed virtual environment. "For that kind of operability across different network platforms, standards are required so the vendors can implement it." Some of the network management standards are IETF MIBs [3], DMTF CIM [4], and/or TMF SID. The paper also presents some IT solutions for applying workflow principles for technical devices. Workflow is the movement of information and/or tasks through a work process. and is wide spread technology used in BSS/OSS [1]. Workflows for OSS (Operation Support System) are called Technical workflows [2].
