Linear predictor based method for estimating Dopplerin mobileradio communication systems

A linear-predictor based method is presented for estimating the random phase variations in the received signal envelope introduced through frequency-selective wideband channels as encountered in mobile radio communication systems. Results show that the proposed algorithm can tolerate a broad range of Doppler shifts.
