Some results in finite and discrete dynamical systems

Bruce S. Elenbogen · International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology · 1990

The paper examines several concepts of dynamical systems and chaos in both finite and discrete domains where concepts and results are simpler and more intuitive. Some of the results are then compared to their continuous counterparts to determine the errors inherent in computer simulations of continuous dynamical systems.
