An all-inclusive solution for the theory of inhomogeneous polymers

Presented is a new solution for the one-dimensional case of a system of nonlinear equations, derived by Helfand and Tagami, for the analysis of the interface between immiscible polymers. The solution will be useful for the reason that it represents in one form a nonperiodic solution relevant to the description of a mixture of homopolymers and at the same time a new periodic solution pertinent to the problem involving block copolymers.
