A Time Indicator for Direct Marking During Serial Radiography

R. V. Faben · British Journal of Radiology · 1961

The importance of knowing the exact time at which each individual film has been exposed in serial radiography has been stressed by Liverud (1959), who has described an apparatus for the direct marking of serial films. In his apparatus a radio-opaque marker is made to run at a constant speed along a linear scale, the graduations of which are also made radio-opaque, so that the position of the marker on the scale is readily seen along one edge of each film.
