Evolution of the P Representation for an Electromagnetic Field in a Random Medium

An expression for the $P$ representation as applied to a two-mode electromagnetic beam propagating in a random medium is obtained. This allows one to obtain explicit expressions for the phase and amplitude fluctuations in terms of the statistical properties of the medium.
