A HUA TYPE THEOREM AND LINEAR PRESERVER PROBLEMS

In this paper we establish a Hua type theorem for generalized inverse (respectively, group inverses, Drazin inverses) in the context of Banach algebra. Furthermore, we provide a characterization of all the linear maps from a C*-algebra of real rank zero onto a prime C*-algebra that preserve the Moore-Penrose inverse, and illustrate its usefulness with an application to the algebra of bounded operators on a complex Hubert space.
