Aliasing reduction in sub-bands of cascaded filter banks with decimation

A method for the reduction of aliasing in sub-band signals of cascaded filter banks with decimation is presented. The aliasing reduction is achieved by simple butterfly operations between filter bank outputs without influencing the reconstruction properties of analysis/synthesis systems.
