Despite the surge in the market for biometrics at the border, with a consequent increase in the number of vendors and other organisations in this important application of biometrics , there are signs that not all is well on the border control front. Biometric technology is facing a number of issues at border crossings and there are fears the technology is over complex for some border applications.
