Generalized Sampling Theorems for Bessel–Type Transforms of Bandlimited Functions and Distributions

M.D. Rawn · SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics · 1989

This paper adapts the ideas of Helms and Thomas [Proc, IRE, 50 (1962), pp. 179–184] and Jerri [Applicable Anal., 14 (1982), pp. 11–25] to derive Bessel-type sampling expansions, and determine upper bounds on the truncation errors. In deriving these expansions, it is shown that the Fourier transform property of additivity of supports under convolution also holds for $H_0 $-Hankel transforms under certain conditions.
