Computational algebra with APL

Aarno Hohti · ACM SIGSAM Bulletin · 1988

The main purpose of this paper is to present the abstract algebra package CLASSLIB of Charles C. Sims to a wider audience. The library consists of more than 200 procedures covering the most of basic algebra as taught at universities, and enables the user to do exact and symbolic algebraic computations, frequently in a way comparable to that of MACSYMA, REDUCE and other programs for symbolic manipulation.
