The ability of an Operating Telecommunications Company (OTC) to handle service logic has not been provided by the conventional network structure. This is one of the reasons that intelligent networks are the commonly accepted architecture for today and tomorrow's telecommunication services. But while intelligent networks come as a rescue, the service development and management become a great challenge to OTCS, because the technical complexity of service development for the intelligent networks still remains high, This paper establishes art object-oriented model for intelligent network service creation and management, trying to provide a framework on which a service creation and management environment can be built. The primary focus is on the abstraction of both services and networks, and on network element capabilities which are used for intelligent network service management.
