Efficient Model-based Tonemapping of High Dynamic Range Gigapixel Images

We present a technique to address the tonemapping of high dynamic range (HDR) gigapixel images. The proposed method relies on extracting low-dimensional models from low-resolution proxy images, and can be efficiently implemented in a parallel manner.
