Fourth-order cumulant based estimator forindependent component analysis

A novel fourth-order cumulant based estimator for independent component analysis is presented. The severe performance loss of other estimators, when either the source kurtoses sum or the source kurtoses difference nears zero, is overcome. Comparative experimental results are provided to substantiate this statement.
