An information structuring approach for group discussion

The purpose of this paper is to develop several structural information models, which can provide a method to structure individuals’ opinions, and build the relations between these opinions. Then, the relation graph of opinions is proposed to visualize the opinions for experts to observe the group state, by which the discussion conclusion and consensus can be calculated automatically. The application for soft-starter design is demonstrated to show the validity of the proposed approach.
